Dr. Jana Bures-Forsthoefel has been practicing in our community for 25+ years and is now delivering the next generation. Babies she once delivered are now moms.
Dr. Jana Bures-Forsthoefel is dedicated to providing the best medicine to all women. Many of her civic organizations require her to donate her time and surgical abilities.
Dr. Jana Bures-Forsthoefel keeps up with the newest advancements in surgery and is the first female ob/gyn trained in the da Vinci in the community. This enables her to bring the most current technology and treatments to her patients.

Dorothy D. White, MD
Dr. Dorothy White grew up in Gainesville and graduated from the University of Florida. She completed her residency at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia and served as Chief Administrative Resident. Dr. White also earned the Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Resident Award in 2011. She is one of the few women performing gynecological procedures using the Da Vinici Robotic System in the Region.
Dr. White is committed to providing exceptional personal care during pregnancy as well as overall women's health from adolescence through menopause.

Kelly J. Forsthoefel, MD
Dr. Kelly Forsthoefel earned her B.S. from Florida State University, and continued her education at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
Now, she’s returned home to Tallahassee to practice side by side with her mother and mentor at GOAT. Dr. Kelly Forsthoefel is also certified in Da Vinci Robotic Surgical Systems, a progressive technology that minimizes invasiveness and reduces recovery time for complicated procedures. Dr. Kelly Forsthoefel aligns naturally with GOAT’s emphasis on caring for generations of women as she is now delivering the babies of women who were delivered by her mother.

Anna E. Malcolm, DO
A Mississippi native, Dr. Anna Malcolm completed her bachelor's degree in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry at the University of Southern Mississippi. Upon graduation, she relocated to Tallahassee, Florida where she worked for the Florida House of Representatives before pursuing medicine.
Dr. Malcolm later earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Dr. Malcolm went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. There she served as educational chair as well as completed Da Vinci robotic surgery training. Dr. Malcolm has now returned to Tallahassee with her husband and young son to begin practicing at Gynecology and Obstetrics Associates of Tallahassee.

Erin Thames, APRN
Erin is a native of Tallahassee, Florida. She graduated from Tallahassee Community College with an Associate of Science in Nursing. After graduation, she began working at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Labor and Delivery as a Registered Nurse. While there, she assisted many women through labor and provided support to patients and their families. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Petersburg College. She then received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She holds two board certifications: one as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) and the other as an Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP). Erin has over 20 years of women’s health nursing experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and gynecology oncology.
